Super Motors EV Private Limited, a dynamic electric mobility startup from Jammu & Kashmir, officially embarked on its electric vehicle journey on September 21, 2026. The company aims to boost the local economy while promoting sustainable transport.
Strategically launching in Jammu, Super Motors entered the burgeoning electric two-wheeler market with the mission of creating job opportunities for local youth and entrepreneurs. By setting up sales, service, and distribution channels, the startup seeks not only to increase electric mobility but also fortify the technical skill base in the region.
The launch event featured an exciting announcement regarding the Early Buyer and Partner Participation Programme. This includes the innovative Founders Club, offering the first 500 eligible buyers unique benefits such as an optional vehicle buyback after five years. This program aims to enhance customer trust and loyalty.
Additionally, the company introduced a First-Buyer PIN Code Allocation initiative. Under this scheme, early customers will receive a dedicated PIN code reservation in the Super Motors First Buyer Quota, adding a personalized touch to the buying experience.
In an effort to further engage with the community, Super Motors launched SMEVC, a digital community utility token built on the BNB Smart Chain. This initiative focuses on enhancing customer loyalty and promoting community participation among riders and network partners.
Super Motors also announced its Partner Participation Programme (PSOP), aimed at empowering local entrepreneurs and technical professionals. This program provides opportunities for technical training, commercial partnerships, and aiding in regional distribution, driving growth for the community.
Speaking at the event, Sushant Bakshi, Managing Director of Super Motors EV, emphasized the goal of transcending traditional business models. “Our journey begins in Jammu & Kashmir because we want the growth of Super Motors to mean more than just another vehicle brand. We want to create an ecosystem in which local youth can acquire technical skills, build careers and participate in the emerging clean mobility sector,” he stated.
Director Madhu Sudan echoed Bakshi’s sentiments. He shared that the company is keen on exploring innovative community involvement methods through its digital and partner initiatives. “Through SMEVC and our partner programmes, we are exploring ways to bring riders, service providers and the Super Motors community closer together,” Sudan explained.
Following the launch of its electric scooter, actor and television personality Amit Rampal showcased the newly launched vehicle in a public demonstration, capturing the audience’s excitement.
