In a proactive security operation, Jammu and Kashmir Police, assisted by Border Security Force (BSF) personnel, conducted a thorough search near the International Border in Jammu on Sunday. This initiative aimed to strengthen security measures as the nation approaches Independence Day.
The operation took place in the Aik Nallah and Kool Kalan areas, which fall under the jurisdiction of the Arnia Police Station. It commenced at approximately 6 pm and lasted for nearly two hours, underscoring the importance of vigilance in border regions.
During the operation, security personnel meticulously examined around 15 residential houses and ‘kullas’ (shacks) in the vicinity. This thorough inspection aligns with the routine security measures and area domination efforts observed leading up to national celebrations.
