Jawan Sunil Kumar Martyred in Pakistan Firing, Final Rites to be Held Today in Purmandal

Jammu, May 11:
Indian Army Jawan Sunil Kumar, a resident of Treva village in the Bishnah area of RS Pura, was martyred in unprovoked ceasefire violation by Pakistan along the International Border.

According to official sources, the incident occurred during heavy shelling by Pakistani forces, to which the Indian Army responded with appropriate retaliation. Sunil Kumar sustained fatal injuries and succumbed to them while performing his duty with courage and dedication.

The news of his martyrdom has sent a wave of grief across the local community. Residents of Treva and surrounding areas have gathered to pay their respects to the brave soldier.

His mortal remains will be brought to Purmandal today for the final rites. Full military honors will be accorded during the cremation ceremony.

The sacrifice of Jawan Sunil Kumar has once again highlighted the volatile situation at the border and the unwavering commitment of Indian soldiers in safeguarding the nation.
