Meanwhile, <strong>GST revenues from imports<\/strong> witnessed a sharp <strong>34.6 per cent<\/strong> surge, rising to <strong>\u20b960,038 crore<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The government also issued <strong>GST refunds worth \u20b932,436 crore<\/strong> during June, representing a <strong>29.1 per cent<\/strong> increase over the same period last year.<\/p>\n<p>After accounting for refunds, <strong>net GST collections<\/strong> for June stood at <strong>more than \u20b91.62 lakh crore<\/strong>, registering an <strong>11.2 per cent<\/strong> year-on-year growth.<\/p>\n<p>The sustained rise in GST collections underscores improved tax administration, stronger compliance, and resilient economic activity, with higher import revenues contributing significantly to the overall increase.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>New Delhi, July 1: India&#8217;s Goods and Services Tax (GST) collections registered a robust 13.9 per cent year-on-year growth in June, reaching nearly \u20b91.95 lakh crore, according to official government data released on Wednesday.
