Election officials noted that these numbers might change as several rounds of counting remain to be completed.<\/p>\n<p>Within the NDA coalition, the <strong>BJP<\/strong> currently leads in <strong>72 seats<\/strong>, closely followed by <strong>Janata Dal (United) (JD(U))<\/strong> with <strong>71 seats<\/strong>. Other allies such as <strong>Lok Janshakti Party (Rashtriya Vakatantrik)<\/strong> and <strong>Hindustan Awam Morcha (Secular)<\/strong> are leading in <strong>18 and 4 seats<\/strong> respectively, while <strong>Rashtriya Lok Manch (RLM)<\/strong> holds a lead in one seat.<\/p>\n<p>In contrast, the INDIA bloc has seen the <strong>Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD)<\/strong> ahead in <strong>43 seats<\/strong>, while the <strong>Indian National Congress<\/strong> has captured leads in <strong>8 seats<\/strong>. Other regional parties like <strong>CPI(ML)-Liberation<\/strong>, <strong>CPI<\/strong>, and <strong>CPI(M)<\/strong> lead in <strong>6<\/strong> and <strong>1 seat each<\/strong> respectively.<\/p>\n<p>Notably, the Jan Suraaj Party, led by <strong>Prashant Kishor<\/strong>, and <strong>Mukesh Sahani<\/strong>&#8216;s <strong>VIP<\/strong> failed to secure any leads across the constituencies they contested.<\/p>\n<p>Among key candidates, <strong>Khesari Lal Yadav<\/strong> from the RJD is trailing in <strong>Chhapra<\/strong>, while <strong>Maithili Thakur<\/strong> from the BJP holds a lead in <strong>Alinagar<\/strong>. Another RJD candidate, <strong>Osama Shahab<\/strong>, leads in <strong>Ragunathpur<\/strong>, and JD(U) minister <strong>Leshi Singh<\/strong> tops in <strong>Dhamdaha<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tejashwi Yadav<\/strong>, the chief ministerial face for the INDIA bloc, is maintaining a lead in <strong>Raghopur<\/strong>. Meanwhile, Deputy CMs <strong>Samrat Choudhary<\/strong> from Tarapur and <strong>Vijay Kumar Sinha<\/strong> from Lakhisarai are also leading their respective constituencies.<\/p>\n<p>In a surprising turn, <strong>Tej Pratap Yadav<\/strong> finds himself in fourth place in <strong>Mahua<\/strong>, where <strong>Sanjay Kumar Singh<\/strong> of LJP(RV) is leading.<\/p>\n<p>As the counting progresses, political analysts anticipate further shifts in today&#8217;s results.
