Wangchuk&#8217;s legal team has secured a copy of his <strong>detention order<\/strong>, which will be challenged in court.<\/p>\n<p>The detention document outlines specific <strong>allegations<\/strong> against Wangchuk, detailing the government&#8217;s invocation of the <strong>National Security Act (NSA)<\/strong> against him.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to Angmo&#8217;s visit, Wangchuk&#8217;s brother <strong>Tsetan Dorje<\/strong> met him inside the prison, accompanied by lawyer <strong>Mustafa Haji<\/strong>. Following their meeting, Haji revealed that Wangchuk has called for an <strong>independent judicial inquiry<\/strong> into the <strong>killing of four protestors<\/strong> during last month&#8217;s unrest in Leh.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWangchuk has expressed his determination to stay in jail until the inquiry takes place,\u201d Haji stated on X.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Angmo has taken further legal action by filing a <strong>petition in the Supreme Court<\/strong> for her husband\u2019s immediate release.
