Officers from <strong>Police Station Zainapora<\/strong> registered <strong>FIR No. 77\/2025 under the NDPS Act<\/strong> before proceeding to the home of <strong>Gh. Mohammad Sheikh<\/strong>, a resident of Humhuna Nagbal. <\/p>\n<p>Under the supervision of the Station House Officer (SHO) Zainapora and an Executive Magistrate 1st Class, a police team raided Sheikh&#8217;s residence. During the search, they recovered one kilogram of a charas-like substance alongside a grinder machine that authorities believe was used for processing the drugs.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cThe accused is currently absconding, and we are making extensive efforts to apprehend him,\u201d a police official stated.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Simultaneously, near <strong>Naghard Wachi<\/strong>, police intercepted a suspect during a routine checkpoint. The individual, identified as <strong>Imtiyaz Ahmad Sheikh<\/strong> from Pombia Kulgam, was found with <strong>101 grams of charas-like substance<\/strong>. In this case, a new FIR, <strong>No. 78\/2025 under the NDPS Act<\/strong>, was registered at Police Station Zainapora as investigations continued.<\/p>\n<p>In Budgam district, police intensified their anti-drug operations, leading to the arrest of another suspect during a routine naka checking at <strong>Checkpora Kralpora<\/strong>. The arrested man, <strong>Moomin Qadir Dhobi<\/strong>, hails from Dharambugh Kralpora, and police discovered <strong>112 grams of charas<\/strong> in his possession.<\/p>\n<p>A fresh investigation has been initiated under <strong>FIR No. 173\/2025 under the NDPS Act<\/strong> at <strong>Police Station Chadoora<\/strong>.
