Approximately 100 individuals assembled, obstructing the NIA officers from executing the arrest of the two accused. The crowd resorted to pelting stones at the vehicle of the NIA team, according to sources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Further details regarding the incident are anticipated as the situation unfolds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This attack on the NIA team follows two separate assaults on Enforcement Directorate (ED) teams earlier this year in January. In Sandeshkhali, within South 24 Parganas district, three ED officers sustained injuries when a mob vandalized their vehicles during a raid at the residence of TMC leader Shahjahan Sheikh. The mob reportedly also seized their personal belongings, including mobile phones and wallets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A similar scenario transpired during the ED\u2019s arrest of Shankar Adhya, the former chairman of Bongaon Municipality, in connection with an alleged ration scam. Adhya\u2019s supporters purportedly attempted to obstruct the officers from taking him into custody and resorted to pelting stones at their vehicles.
