Jammu, June 27 – Northern Army Commander Lieutenant General M V Suchindra Kumar conducted a visit to various military formations in Jammu and Kashmir’s Udhampur district to assess the operational readiness of troops in the region, officials reported on Thursday.

The visit, which took place on Wednesday evening, was aimed at evaluating the preparedness of the formations in light of the upcoming Amarnath Yatra and the overall security situation in the Jammu region.
