Students of Jodhamal Public School showcased remarkable talent at the 4th Ranking Roller Skating Championship, held at M.A. Stadium, Jammu, securing a total of 50 medals across various categories. The championship, organized by the Jammu and Kashmir Roller Skating Association (JKRSA), saw the school finish with 10 gold, 29 silver, and 11 bronze medals.
The championship took place over the weekend, providing a platform for young skaters to demonstrate their speed, skill, and sporting spirit. Jodhamal skaters excelled, displaying determination at every turn.
Among the gold medallists, Gurjas Singh, Aahan Sharma, and Namish Gupta each won two gold medals, reflecting their hard work. Other gold medal winners included Pearl Suri, Arindham Charak, Devansh Sharma, and Aamya Vashishth, who contributed to the school’s prestigious medal tally.
In the silver medal category, Pavit Gupta stood out with two silver medals. A group of talented skaters, including Bhavnoor Kaur, Samayra Gupta, and Aayansh Gupta, won one silver medal each, showcasing the school’s depth in skating talent.
Dhruv Sadhotra, Shiva Gupta, Gurisha Kour, Daanial Butt, and Advaay Sharma also claimed two silver medals each, further adding to the school’s impressive performance.
The bronze medal winners comprised Devansh Sharma, Divyansh Sharma, Vedang Shrikul, Kriyansh Dwivedi, and others, who performed admirably to secure one medal each. Aaradhya Subudhi and Mehransh Kaur shone with two bronze medals each, highlighting their dedication and consistency.
The school’s management praised the skaters for their achievements, emphasizing that the medal tally reflects the dedication, disciplined practice, and passion of the students for roller skating. They described the performance as inspiring for fellow students, encouraging more participation in sports.
The management congratulated the medal winners, their supportive parents, and coaches Kamal Anand and Ritish Jamwal for their guidance. They expressed hope for continued success for these young athletes in their sporting journey.
